The western coast of Yemen has experienced an escalation in military activity by the Houthi militias, who carried out widespread infiltration attacks early Thursday morning, targeting various combat fronts. These assaults led to a sudden withdrawal of government forces from key areas, including the districts of Hays and Al-Khukhah. The Houthis seized control of the strategic Khaled Camp. In response, Major General Tarek Saleh, head of the Political Office of the National Resistance, relocated the command center to a secure area south of Al-Mokha and initiated the reorganization of Yemeni armed forces. He affirmed that the Houthis are supported by Iran and that they employed different types of weapons during the attacks. The military activities and Houthi infiltrations were backed by regional interventions, including warnings from Saudi Arabia and Iran. Amid these developments, Yemeni forces suffered human losses, and tensions continue in strategic areas along the western coast.
