Houthi attack hits Medina power station
Thyba Power Station in Medina was targeted by a terrorist attack carried out by the Houthi militia, using a drone missile that aimed at the station which supplies services to the Al-Masjid an-Nabawi (the Prophet's Mosque). The attack caused one of the transformers to go out of service, without impacting the overall electrical network. The spokesperson for the coalition confirmed that investigations proved Houthi involvement and that the attack is part of attempts to target the two holy mosques. Measures are ongoing to deter the militia and to protect Mecca, Medina, and the guests of Allah.
