Arab FA backs Infantino for FIFA
The Arab Union of the Confederation of Arab Football expressed its support for Gianni Infantino, President of the International Football Association (FIFA), after a meeting in Jeddah attended by presidents of Arab federations including Qatar and Morocco. This comes amid increasing opposition to Infantino following his previous attempts to sell a stake in FIFA tournaments, which he was forced to withdraw. The Arab Union affirmed that Infantino has fostered greater unity within the global football community, supporting his efforts to enhance cooperation with national and regional bodies.
