Southern Turkey experiences five minor quakes without damage
South Turkey experienced five minor earthquakes on Sunday, with residents in northern Syria feeling their tremors, though no damage or injuries occurred. The area is close to the epicenters of two powerful earthquakes in February 2023 that resulted in the deaths of over 53,000 people in Turkey and approximately 6,000 in Syria. The National Center for Earthquakes in Syria confirmed that the tremors were felt in the northern part of the country, while the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority reported that the quakes did not cause any damage.
