Tuchil: Scott can match Rice in midfield
England coach Thomas Tuchel said that Declan Rice is facing competition for his midfield spot after a standout performance by Alex Scott in his first match with the national team, where he played alongside Elliott Anderson and contributed to the 7-0 victory over Croatia. Tuchel confirmed that Scott has proven his ability to compete, and his strong performance puts pressure on Rice’s position, who recognizes the importance of competition and is considered one of the best midfielders in Europe.
