Two men die crossing the channel
Two men, whose nationalities have not been determined, lost their lives off the coast of France while attempting to cross the English Channel to Britain. They were on a dilapidated boat carrying approximately 90 passengers, according to French authorities, who confirmed that their hearts had stopped when they were found. Additionally, two women and a girl were hospitalized after sustaining burns as a result of the incident, which took place in the northern town of Berk-sur-Mer. This incident comes a week after another attempt to cross the Channel ended with the death of three people, including a ten-year-old boy.
