Trump supports Turkish and Pakistani forces in Saudi
U.S. President Donald Trump welcomed Turkey and Pakistan's agreement to send military forces to Saudi Arabia to strengthen defenses against Houthi attacks. This came following the activation of the "Mecca Defense Coalition" during an emergency meeting in Riyadh, marking its first activation since it was signed last August. The participating forces aim to enhance readiness and military integration to deter threats, with it being confirmed that only Pakistani troops will be involved in combat operations. Additionally, a retired Pakistani team was appointed as the first Secretary-General of the coalition for a three-year term.
