Mustafa Kamel on Issam Sassa's Cigarette
Egyptian Musicians Syndicate President Mustafa Kamel commented on the decision to suspend festival singer Essam Sasa after photos circulated showing him holding a cigarette suspected to contain drugs. Kamel explained that the shape of the cigarette looked unusual, but he has no evidence of its contents. He clarified that they are not investigating social media platforms or TikTok in detail, and that the suspension decision came after the controversy surrounding a video posted by Essam Sasa on his TikTok account. As a result, he was suspended for six months.
