Ronaldo defends status as top footballer
The Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo expressed his confidence that he is the greatest and most complete player in the history of football, pointing out that his stats and records confirm his position, despite some fans favoring Lionel Messi, Pelé, or Maradona. He clarified that he does not want to rush reaching 1,000 goals and that his historical standing does not depend on that number. He emphasized that the most successful player in history is himself, whether he scores between 920 and 930 goals or more. Ronaldo needs to score an additional 20 goals to achieve this milestone, and he considers what he has already accomplished sufficient to cement his place in the history of the game.
