Yemen's Dawn and Frontline Clashes
As part of Operation "Yemen Dawn," the Yemeni armed forces, supported by the Saudi-led coalition, intensified their airstrikes, resulting in the destruction of around 380 vehicles and armored units, and the neutralization of approximately 950 Houthi fighters. The aim is to disrupt enemy combat systems and achieve territorial progress in Taiz and the surrounding areas. The operations primarily target fortifications, weapons caches, and command centers, while adhering to international law to protect civilians. The clashes have resulted in the deaths and injuries of dozens of Houthis, and the city is facing a severe health crisis due to the depletion of medicines and medical supplies. These developments come amid Houthi escalation efforts to lift the blockade.
