Trump confirms willingness for trilateral talks with Xi and Putin
U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed that the United States is prepared to hold a trilateral meeting with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, and Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss nuclear weapons. This possibility may be discussed during his upcoming visit to China in November. He indicated that the meeting could focus on nuclear disarmament but did not confirm any official arrangements. In a different context, Trump stated that the United States is engaging in negotiations with Russia regarding Iran, and he clarified that Moscow "has not done anything in Iran," considering this a positive development.
