Heavy rains caused by a low-pressure system flooded around 70,000 tents sheltering tens of thousands of displaced people in the Gaza Strip within 12 hours, leaving them without shelter. Authorities reported the collapse of cracked walls and roofs, as well as injuries, some of them serious.
