Ali al-Jafri, head of the Southern Transitional Council’s executive body in Hadramout, met with leaders and members of the Southern Resistance from the al-Dis and Ba’ajman neighborhoods at the Martyrs of the South Hall in Mukalla. The meeting was attended by Captain Issam al-Muhammadi, commander of the resistance in the governorate. Al-Jafri called for translating Aidarus Qassem al-Zubaidi’s directives on popular mobilization into action on the ground, raising readiness, and expanding community participation to confront threats—particularly those posed by the Houthis. The meeting stressed the need to close ranks, coordinate efforts, and remain vigilant to protect Hadramout’s security and stability.
