A former Royal Navy petty officer, Allan Grimson, was jailed in 2001 for murdering two young men, Nicholas Wright and Sion Jenkins, at his Portsmouth flat. A jury has now heard allegations that, from the mid to late 1990s, Grimson sexually assaulted four boys and men as young as 14, in addition to the murders. Prosecutors allege Grimson, who served since 1978 and was an instructor at a firefighting school, used his authority to commit these offenses, while he has denied some of the sexual assault and indecency charges.
