Bolivia declares emergency over road blocks

The President of Bolivia, Rodrigo Paz, declared a state of emergency after 50 days of road blockades, in order to end the disturbances that disrupted the economy and threatened the supply of medicine and food. This came after the government signed an agreement with the labor union to end the blockade, which caused economic losses estimated at three billion dollars.
