Ministers and FAO launch food security plan

The Ministry of Agriculture, in collaboration with the Lebanese University, organized a national meeting on the occasion of World Food Safety Day 2026. The event focused on enhancing coordination and developing consumer protection mechanisms through the establishment of a unified national framework and updating Law No. 35/2015 to support the Food Safety Authority. The goal is to improve regulatory traceability and increase the competitiveness of Lebanese products.
