Nidaa Al-Watan: Bread Price Cuts

Lebanese Minister of Economy and Trade, Amir Bassalat, has decided to reduce the price of a standard loaf of white bread by 5,000 Lebanese pounds. As a result, the price of the large loaf has decreased from 75,000 to 70,000 pounds, and the small loaf from 50,000 to 45,000 pounds. This decision comes in response to the decline in fuel prices and global costs. The Ministry has also launched monitoring campaigns to ensure compliance with the new pricing.
