Enhance plans global MDI plant in Ras Al Ruwais

The company "Tazeez" is studying the development of a global facility for producing "MDI" in the Ras Al Ruwais industrial area in Abu Dhabi, with an annual capacity of up to 660,000 tons. This makes it one of the largest production plants worldwide. The project aims to support the construction, automotive, and advanced materials sectors by localizing production and reducing dependence on imports, in addition to strengthening domestic manufacturing capabilities and supporting industrial growth in the UAE. The study includes an assessment of the technical and commercial feasibility of the plant. It is expected to contribute approximately 2.2 million tons annually to chemical production capacity and attract investments of up to $10 billion.
