A clinical study has shown that vitamin B3 (niacin) may boost the immune system's resistance to glioblastoma, one of the most aggressive types of cancer. Niacin was added to the standard treatment for newly diagnosed patients, and preliminary results indicated that 82% of patients did not experience disease progression after six months, compared to 54% in previous studies. The study is currently ongoing with a larger number of patients, and final results are expected by the end of 2026.
