Iraqi-Chinese Friendship Leader on China

Haydar Al-Rubaie, head of the Iraqi-Chinese Friendship Association, stated that China is considered a "second home" for Iraqis. The association was founded in 2018 with the aim of strengthening Iraqi understanding of China. It has become a center for Chinese language proficiency testing, through which more than 500 learners have received certificates and studied in China. There are also major cooperative projects between the two countries in infrastructure, energy, and education sectors, all contributing to improving the lives of Iraqi residents. Al-Rubaie calls for deepening exchanges between the two nations and working on the principle of mutually beneficial cooperation.
