Gladbach acquires Darmstadt's leading scorer

Borussia Mönchengladbach, the German club, announced the signing of Swedish striker Isaac Lihadji from Darmstadt for four million dollars, on a four-year contract until 2030. Lihadji scored 17 goals last season, becoming the second top scorer in the second division with a total of 31 goals in 58 matches. He has also represented Sweden in three matches. The club’s sporting director described Isaac as a strong forward with an attacking mindset, posing a real threat to opponents' goal. This deal is the club’s fifth acquisition for the upcoming season, following the end of the previous season in 12th place in the German league.
