Initial funds for healthcare providers upcoming

The National Social Security Fund announced the disbursement of the first installment to doctors and hospitals in accordance with the new coverage. The fund has increased the reimbursement rate from 75% to 90% with the aim of improving financing and supporting the healthcare sector. Approximately 10 billion Lebanese pounds have been paid to cover hospitalization expenses for insured patients, in addition to nearly 105 billion pounds paid for previous transactions, with a total amount approaching 2.43 trillion pounds over the year. This comes as part of the fund's efforts to enhance its financial capacity and improve healthcare services for insured individuals.
