Azerbaijan signs 15-year gas deal

Turkish company Botash has signed a long-term agreement with Azerbaijani company SOCAR, involving Total Energies and ADNOC, to supply 33 billion cubic meters of natural gas over 15 years. The supplies are set to begin in 2029 from the Abşeron field in the Caspian Sea, at an estimated rate of approximately 2.25 billion cubic meters per year.
