Hossam Hassan is a former Egyptian football player and coach, born on August 10, 1966. He is considered one of the most prominent strikers in Egypt's history, having scored 69 goals in 176 international matches. He won three African Cup of Nations titles with the national team. He began his career with Al Ahly Club and later moved abroad to play professionally in Greece and Switzerland, before returning to win seven Egyptian Premier League titles with Al Ahly.
