Police find ancient artifacts underwater

Police divers off the coast of Sardinia in Italy discovered ancient Roman artifacts, including intact terracotta vessels and amphorae, resting on the seabed. The artifacts date from the late Roman Republic to the early Roman Empire, approximately between the 1st century B.C. and the 1st century A.D., with potential links to Lazio, Campania, or the Iberian Peninsula. The find is part of ongoing efforts to explore submerged archaeological sites, and further analysis is planned to determine their exact origin and whether more relics are nearby.
