Braves' bold Chris Sale move may favor Dodgers in NLDS

The Atlanta Braves opted for a bullpen game in Game 2 of their NLDS series against the Dodgers, choosing left-hander Ray Kerr as their opener instead of starting ace Chris Sale. Sale, who pitched in both the wild-card game and a previous start, will not pitch until Game 3, allowing extra rest but risking reduced availability if the series extends to Game 5. The decision aims to preserve Sale’s strength for later in the series, relying heavily on their relief staff to maintain their chances against a strong Dodgers lineup.
