Samsung hikes Galaxy phone prices in 2026

Samsung has increased the prices of its Galaxy A series phones in the American market, with increases ranging from $20 to $70 depending on the model and storage capacity. The highest hikes of $70 were seen in the Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 models with 256GB storage, bringing their prices to $679 and $609 respectively. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A17 has seen a price jump of over 35% since its launch in January 2026, now priced at $269. These increases come amid ongoing rising costs for components and memory, without any new specifications being added, which further burdens consumers. The price hike has expanded to affect mid-range models rather than just budget-oriented ones.
