Nigeria NYSC abductions hindered by bombs
Nigerian police have located a camp holding 19 kidnapped youth service recruits in Imo state but cannot proceed due to explosives believed to be planted there. The victims were abducted while traveling to NYSC camps, with kidnappers demanding a ransom they cannot afford. Police plan a rescue operation using armored vehicles and bulldozers, amid ongoing concerns over rising kidnapping incidents in Nigeria.
