Kyiv reports ongoing Russian energy strikes
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukraine has temporarily refrained from striking Russian energy infrastructure following U.S. President Donald Trump's declaration of a ceasefire in energy attacks. Despite this, Moscow continued targeting Ukrainian energy sites, including a power plant and gas facilities, shortly after Trump's statement. Zelenskyy called for Russia to adhere to the ceasefire and criticized ongoing attacks, especially amid fears of increased assaults during cold weather. The situation remains tense as Ukraine and Russia exchange strikes, with international critics questioning the sincerity of Russia's commitment to the ceasefire.
