Are women's health posts being hidden

Irene Breen's business suffered significant financial losses after Instagram restricted her pregnancy-related advertisements for ten months, requiring her to remove the word "pregnancy" from her website and product listings. These restrictions are part of broader platform policies that limit the promotion of women's health topics, leading to content being removed, shadowbanned, or heavily filtered. Women's health creators and charities report ongoing issues with content suppression and misclassification, which hinder the dissemination of vital health information and contribute to self-censorship. Meta states it allows women's health content but emphasizes restrictions aimed at preventing negative user experiences across diverse cultures.
