Investigators have identified the remains of Edward Lelburian “Buddy” Jackson, whose body was found in a barrel in Lake Mead in 2022. Jackson, a man in his mid- to late 50s, was murdered by a gunshot wound in the 1980s, and his remains were discovered amidst declining water levels in the Nevada reservoir. His identity was confirmed through DNA analysis after years of investigation, and authorities have spoken with his relatives, verifying he was last seen in Arkansas in the early 1980s.
