US orders embassy staff to leave Saudi Arabia

The U.S. State Department ordered the departure of non-essential staff and their families from its Riyadh embassy due to escalating Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia, including strikes on civilian airports and critical infrastructure. The move follows recent missile and drone attacks, including one that targeted an oil field and caused casualties. The U.S. is increasing military support to Saudi Arabia, while other allies like the UK and Egypt have offered additional assistance amid the heightened conflict.
