LI couple honors daughter and aids suicide prevention

The article focuses on the efforts of the parents of Cherilyn Duca, a girl who ended her life at age 16, to raise awareness about mental health and suicide prevention. They participate annually in the "Out of the Darkness" walk organized by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, founding their team "Team Tornado" and raising over $200,000. The event aims to educate the public, support those affected by suicide, and promote mental health resources, as suicide remains a leading cause of death among young people. Despite ongoing grief, the Ducas continue their advocacy to help prevent others from experiencing similar loss.
