Women's Tech Forum Fosters Impact

The seventh edition of the "Women in Technology Forum" was held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Budoor bint Sultan Al Qasimi, with the aim of empowering Emirati women to play an active role in designing and shaping the future of technology by 2050. The forum focuses on the role of women as leaders, innovators, and decision-makers in shaping future technologies and industries, emphasizing the need for women to actively participate in setting technological priorities and understanding their impact on societies and economies. This initiative comes in light of the success of Emirati women in the fields of science, technology, and space, where they constitute approximately 50% of the workforce in the National Space Program and 80% of the Mars exploration team, with over 46% of STEM graduates and 70% of university graduates—a testament to their growing role in building the technological future.
