Alexandria Intents 2026: Schedule and Effects
The article discusses the Harmattan season in Alexandria for the year 2026, outlining its expected dates and its impacts on weather and navigation. The Harmattan begins with the crossing winds on September 30 and continues until the end of December. It is characterized by severe fluctuations in weather conditions, including strong winds and heavy rains, especially during Qasem and Mounessa Nuwas, leading to port disturbances and high waves. There is also a possibility of field interventions and suspension of maritime activities. Preparedness for these seasons requires arrangements such as stationing emergency teams, clearing networks, monitoring weather forecasts, and advising citizens to avoid going to the sea and to secure property, all to ensure safety during the stormy weather.
