New cast in Sense and Sensibility

A new film, based on Jane Austen's novel "Sense and Sensibility," is set to premiere on October 16 in the United States. It revisits the story of sisters Elinor and Marianne Dashwood after the death of their father, as their emotions clash with social constraints and personal choices during a transitional period in their lives. The film features an ensemble cast of well-known and young actors, with Daisy Edgar-Jones playing Elinor and Ezmi Creed-Miles portraying Marianne. George MacKay appears as Edward Ferrars, alongside prominent performances by stars such as Frank Delen, Kaitriona Balfe, and Fionnuala Shú, who bring depth and diversity to their characters. The work aims to present one of the most famous romantic novels in English literature through a modern cinematic lens.
