Basmam Farihah Foundation for the Arts celebrates the centenary of artist Paul Gireghosian, one of the pioneers of modern art in the Middle East, through an exhibition that explores his artistic journey and the impact of his Armenian heritage and his family's migration from Jaffa to Lebanon in 1948. The exhibition, organized in collaboration with the artist's daughter, features archival holdings and paintings being displayed for the first time outside Lebanon. It also highlights his relationships with three generations of inspiring women. Additionally, the season includes exhibitions dedicated to contemporary Lebanese art and results from lectures addressing topics related to art and cultural heritage, aiming to offer a shared critical perspective between the East and the West on identity and artistic memory.
