Six women detained over dispute in Fayoum
Social media outlets circulated a video showing several women verbally insulting and abusing citizens at Abshway Police Station in Fayoum Governorate. The dispute originated from recurring neighborhood disagreements that escalated into a physical altercation. Security authorities managed to arrest six women, who, during investigations, confessed to their involvement in the altercation that took place a week ago. They were referred to the Public Prosecutor's Office for further investigation. The investigations confirmed that the disagreements were the main cause of the conflict between the parties, and this incident serves as an example of how neighborhood disputes can escalate into verbal and physical violence.
