Amal Ammar Highlights Women's Economic Role

The National Council for Women participated in the "Turathna" Exhibition of Crafts and Heritage to promote the economic empowerment of Egyptian women. This was achieved by showcasing their products, which they created as part of the activities of the Egyptian Family Development National Project. The aim is to provide marketing opportunities for women, thereby enhancing their economic independence and helping to preserve Egyptian traditional crafts. The exhibition, which runs from October 17 to 24, features around a thousand exhibitors from various governorates, with the goal of expanding the marketing scope for handmade products, strengthening women's role in the national economy, and conserving cultural heritage.
