Saudi Arabia apprehends 156,430 violators of residency, work, and border security regulations nationwide during the week

Within a week, security authorities in the Kingdom successfully apprehended 15,430 individuals violating residency, work regulations, and border security. Among them, 7,913 violated the residency system, 4,037 violated border security regulations, and 3,480 violated work laws. Additionally, 1,542 people trying to cross the border illegally were intercepted, including 46% Yemenis and 53% Ethiopians. Furthermore, 17,353 violators were referred to their diplomatic missions, 4,538 were directed to complete their travel arrangements, and 11,800 violators were deported. The Ministry emphasized that anyone facilitating the entry or movement of violators risks penalties of up to 15 years in prison and a fine of one million riyals.
