Samsung introduces 200MP sensor for Galaxy S27 Ultra

Samsung has unveiled its new 200-megapixel ISOCELL HPC imaging sensor, which includes advanced technologies such as DeepPix, increasing photo cell capacity by 60% to enhance image quality and reduce noise. The sensor supports 4K video recording at 180 frames per second and 8K at 30 frames per second, as well as still photography at up to 7.5 frames per second in 200-megapixel resolution. Although these specifications qualify the sensor to be featured in Samsung's flagship phones, leaks suggest that the Galaxy S27 Ultra may instead use another sensor from the ISOCELL HP6 series. It is also expected that the new sensor will appear in phones from Chinese manufacturers.
