Saudi Arabia Reports Over 15,430 Violators of Residency, Work, and Border Security Regulations Caught Across Kingdom in One Week

During the weekly field campaigns in the Kingdom from 17 to 23 / 1 / 1448 AH, a total of 15,430 violators of residence, work, and border security regulations were apprehended. Among them, 7,913 violated residence regulations, 4,037 violated border security laws, and 3,480 violated labor regulations. Additionally, 1,542 individuals attempting to illegally cross the borders were arrested, 46% of whom were Yemen nationals and 53% were Ethiopians. A total of 11,800 violators have been deported, with many others referred to their respective embassies or their travel procedures being finalized. Legal measures are ongoing against those facilitating the entry or sheltering of violators, with penalties reaching up to 15 years in prison and a fine of one million riyals.
