Saudi Arabia issues 34000+ building permits in H1

During the first half of 2026, the Saudi Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing issued over 34,000 building permits across various regions. The majority were residential permits, numbering more than 28,000, along with over 5,000 commercial permits and more than 1,000 permits for government buildings. The "Balady" platform contributed to simplifying permit issuance procedures and expediting transactions.
