Jameel Deep Tech Semi-Finals Ended

The second edition of Jamil Deep Tech Initiative concluded its semi-final stage in Riyadh, featuring 33 teams out of 900 applicants, compared to 30 teams out of 234 in the previous edition. The initiative aims to support entrepreneurs reliant on scientific research in the sectors of health, energy, and the environment, in line with Saudi Vision 2030. The teams received training through advisory sessions and laboratory visits, and presented their projects before a judging panel. Ten teams were selected to advance to the final, demonstrating a notable qualitative development in the quality of their projects and achieving greater sales and investments. They are now competing for total prizes amounting to 2.25 million Saudi Riyals.
