Localization improves labor market stability

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation in Dubai successfully resolved and settled 185,793 labor disputes during the first half of 2026, accounting for 98.6% of all registered disputes. Only 2,481 disputes, or 1.4%, were referred to the judiciary. This effort is part of the ongoing development of the labor dispute resolution system, aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the working environment, reducing judicial intervention, expediting dispute resolution processes, and achieving balance between the parties involved in employment relationships.
