The first edition of "Al Watbah for Khall" concluded, organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority during the Zayed Summer Festival. The event aimed to support farmers, enhance the quality of production, and introduce new generations to the agricultural heritage associated with the date palm. On the closing day, the results of the Khall and Zamili competitions were announced, with six contestants winning prizes totaling 397,000 dirhams, including 100,000 dirhams for the first place. The course saw the participation of 448 contestants across 18 competitions, with total prize money reaching 5.677 million dirhams, and more than 4.385 tons of dates and fruits participated.
