Edat Al-Communications and Information Technology Company announced the issuance of a purchase order valued at 127.54 million SAR for the acquisition of cloud computing infrastructure equipment and Graphics Processing Units (GPUs), as part of the expansion plan of the "EdaratCloud Stack" system. Aqilaniat Technology Company is responsible for supplying the equipment in five phases over the next six months, with the financing process conducted through financial arrangements with the supplier and banking credit facilities. The value of these capital assets may appear on the company's financial statements during the last quarter of this year and the first quarter of next year, with depreciation calculated over five years. This deal comes a week after the company secured a contract worth 197.8 million SAR to design and operate an AI data center with a capacity of 200 megawatts.
