Deep Silicone has announced the launch of software tools for developing AI chips in collaboration with Huawei, with the aim of creating an alternative to Nvidia's CUDA platform and strengthening China's ability to rely on domestic technologies. The software includes the TileLang platform, designed to accelerate AI application development and optimize the performance of Huawei's Ascend chips, particularly on the Ascend 950. Deep Silicone, which is valued at around $74 billion, plans to deploy more than 160,000 AI accelerators in a large data center in Inner Mongolia to enhance China's capabilities in artificial intelligence and local technologies, while reducing the sector's dependence on Nvidia's global solutions.
