Russian escalation targets Kyiv data centers

Russian assaults on data centers and communications infrastructure in Ukraine are intensifying, especially in Kyiv. Russian forces have targeted warehouses storing "Flamingo" missiles and internet exchange centers, aiming to disrupt the flow of information. The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that it carried out strikes on targets including the "B-Mobile" data center and the "Parkovi" facility, as part of an ongoing military escalation designed to reduce Ukraine's cyber defense capabilities. On the other hand, NATO responded to the tensions with Russia, affirming that the Alliance's activities do not pose a threat to Russia and that it continues to support Ukraine. NATO also issued a warning regarding Russian nuclear threats following a series of missile strikes linked to Kaliningrad, amid ongoing deep tensions since the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine war in 2022.
