Pentagon Starts Future Wars Study Led by Musk

U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced the launch of the "Meridian" initiative to envision the future battlefield through a joint leadership team comprising Elon Musk, Palmer Lucky, and Newt Gingrich. The project aims to analyze potential combat zones from land to space around the Moon and to study the systems necessary to maintain America's military superiority in the long term. The initiative seeks to produce a final report within 120 days, including practical recommendations, with some parts made public and others classified, in order to guide U.S. Armed Forces research and align it with future visions of warfare.
